Juan Gómez "Chicuelo" , born 1968 in Barcelona, is not only an outstanding flamenco guitarist but also one of the most prolific and exciting composer of his generation. He has worked with the greatest flamenco dancers and singers. In this video he plays and explains his best compositions for solo playing and dance accompaniment. The rhythmically remarkable Taranto por Rumba or the wonderful Silencio in the Alegría are just two of the numerous highlights on this video.
